2 Weeks

2 weeks to the day! If you have not figured it out yet I am going to the Dominican to build houses for people who I assume do not have houses! My friend Liana is going to Kenya also to do something of a kind nature and we have decided to ask all our friends via facebook to look out for stuff to take to the kids, (candy, stickers, baseball mitts, balls, and stuff of that nature!)


News:
I went to get my final shots today, they are expensive and we have the packing party on monday so I will let anyone who cares how many suitcases we are taking and what we are filling them with.

I leave for the DR in just over three weeks, while im there i want to keep a journal which i will then post with pictures when i get back.

It might be a little premature but whatever, i am excited for the trip. I have three full suitcases of clothes put together by the ladies of my mother's church (Thanks ladies!), and a full bag of toys, puppets, and stuffed animals courtesy of Melody's mom (thanks Mrs Adams!), for us to take down. I am told we are having a packing party later on in the month and everyone is going to bring together the stuff they have collected to take down. Apparently there are closets full of stuff we have saved, but if you have anything you want to make it to the people in Dominican just send me a message and I will grab it and throw it in a bag at the packing party.

There is no real news, other than that with our ramshead fundraisers we raised something like a combined 1400 dollars for building supplies, so I guess i'll post all the real buisiness in just over a month! See you then
